18 grams of protein for breakfast in this mouth-watering spin on hot oats. WOAH! How’s that for plant-based protein?! We don’t mess around when it comes to simple breakfast dishes. Working full time jobs, managing our social lives, and still finding time to cook so frequently – quick meals are 100% necessary sometimes. Quick doesn’t equate to lack of nutrition, either! Remember all the benefits of cinnamon we talked about in our dinner here? Oh the beauty of Veganism ;) (Makes 1 serving)
½ cup dried oats
½ cup cashew milk
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp hemp hearts raw shelled hemp seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
Cut the strawberries in halves first.
Scoop oats into a bowl and stir in milk. Heat in the microwave for 1½ minutes.
While the oats are still hot, mix the peanut butter in well. It should melt and the extra liquid from the milk will thicken.
Top with hemp hearts, chia seeds, strawberries, and lastly cinnamon. Enjoy!
