Who doesn’t love smoothies? They’re basically a milkshake that is good for you. No complaints over here. We used to be terrible at making smoothies until we came across a graphic guide on the internet one day. Now we use that outline for any smoothie we’d like! With 17 grams of protein, this liquid-fruit-bliss does a damn good job of being your entire meal. Be careful, sneaky lil’ babies may try to steal the goodness.
2 big handfuls of spinach & kale (2 tightly packed cups)
2 cups frozen berries
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
4-5 tbsp cashew milk (or your favorite nondairy milk)
2 tbsp vegan protein powder
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp vanilla chai mix (optional)
1/8 tsp turmeric
Throw all ingredients into a blender and whiz until completely puréed. Super simple, quick, and easy. Enjoy!
